I-69, once complete, will extend from Port Huron, MI to Mexico,
earning the nickname:

NAFTA Superhighway.

At this time, only one section has been signed as I-69
approximately 15 miles from the I-55 interchange north of Hernando, west to US Highway 61, just north of Tunica County.
This section opened in October, 2006
and has a daily traffic count of 26,000.

I-69 (as I-269) will continue east towards Marshall County,
turning north and entering Memphis/Shelby County.
It will intersect with the proposed I-22.
This project is to be completed in 2015.
